No garden Ideas

If you love to garden but do not have a yard to garden there is still a way to garden. I have a huge outdoor garden, but I also have what I call my Wall O Garden also. You would be amazed how much money you can make in a basement or spare room or a spare wall. South facing windows are good also. You just need to know what to grow and how to grow them. Small Garden Ideas

If you have a small garden, it would be most equitable if you specialized in high dollar plants that do not take up a great deal of space. Some of these plants take years to grow but provide a great deal of money others take less time and give you a steady income.

A few of my friends are using their small garden space for cut flower businesses. They do not need a ton of customers to bring in a great income. If growing flowers in bulk and providing flourist, resturaunts and hotels with cut flowers or arrangements this will bring you a great deal of money with a space as small as 100 square feet.

There are great ways utilize your small garden space and become a small nursery selling whole sale plants or taking your plants to farmer’s markets and selling your plants at your location. A friend of mine provided deliver to your door veggies during the covid pandamic and made a killing with her small vegitable garden and delivery van. we will cover some of these ideas in Terie’s Backyard Garden Group.

Many people feel have a large garden makes it easier to make money. This can be very true, but if you are just starting out, the garden can be very overwhelming if you are not careful. The larger the garden the more work you have tending. If you are not careful you can loose everything and not be able to sell anything if you get a fungus, pests or even weeds over run your garden because you do not have the time to tend it. It is always best to start small if you do not have any help and work your way up. If you are by yourself it is best to start out with on good crop or plant and build from there. The quickest way to get discouraged it to start too big and fail.

Your Garden is a goldmine if you know how to do it! There are friends of mine just working their garden part time and having weekend plant sales a few months a year. There other friends of mine that have a full fledge nursery and their neighbors are none the wiser. I do a little bit of everything depending on what I want to work on and develop and I still make a good income from my garden.
